This story was originally printed in French. Despite this, the whole story feels very much like peak Heavy Metal. The whole thing is very heavily predicated on the male gaze. As an example: This is the first page in the story and the second tier is a focus on the breasts of the only two characters that have been introduced. By the end of the page, we have nudity and an admission that one of the women is a sex worker.
