The layout of this story is really weird – a series of splash pages where the story takes an unconventional direction. It starts at the top of the first page, then to the top of the second page, then to the bottom of the first page, then to the bottom of the second page. Often with a giant image in the center of the two page splash. It’s all over the place and not at all intuitive to read. And this happens with several two-page splashes in a row. Anyway, here’s a naked woman bathing in what could be blood or red opium or both.
