The story is not exceptional – a Southern European tale of a knight who rode off to the Crusades and has done terrible things. His return to his home town during a heavy snowstorm is wreaking havoc with his PTSD.

This is the first page that establishes where the story is taking place in a physical sense. The snow effect on the horse in the first panel is amazing.
