The conceit of this story is that robots have been modifying themselves to look more human. One robot body sculptor went too far, though, and created a chassis made to look like a naked woman (which we can see in the last panel). The cross-hatching on the torso reveals Alias to be yet another Moebius impersonator from the impersonator boom of the late 70s. He’s got his own style, but when complicated things crop up, Moebius becomes his go-to cartoonist.
