A continuation of the Shelter story. Not quite 900 people find themselves trapped in a sub-basement mall that has been set up as an emergency radiation shelter during an atomic attack. There is more than enough food, water and air for 15,000 people so this small number are set for a while. But here, they find out that their new life will be much the same as their old life – forced to wear identity badges and given jobs that they have to do whether they want to or not.
