Angus McKie returns for another long-running serial. It seems to be split into two concurrent threads – I say “seems” because the narrative is not entirely clear. This thread is about a group of robots who arrive on Earth, a planet whose natives have wiped themselves out, to scavenge for scrap metal.

Of course, these kinds of post-apocalyptic stories were perfect places to throw in commentary about contemporary culture in the guise of “how enlightened the people in the future are and how backwards we seem to them” – the comment about the use of “fuck” in the bottom panel being a perfect example.
