The little film strip style comic down the right edge of the page is elemental in nature and features yet another would-be sexual assault motif that is turned around in the penultimate panel by means of a foot to the crotch. Well drawn, even if the material is a bit dubious.

The text on the rest of the page is from Jay Kinney’s ongoing history of underground comix. Here, he is specifically discussing Corben’s emergence in the early 70s. One of the interesting notes is the observation that Corben’s work isn’t particularly revolutionary – the stories reinforce the existing sexual power structures and just feature women with big tits. Nobody denies that the art is amazing, though.
