This is easily my favorite story in this issue of Heavy Metal and probably one of my favorite Heavy Metal stories of all time. The magic tone box of the title lets this kid become a legendary guitarist who burns himself out in his first big concert, becoming a member of the devil’s band in hell.

What I like about this page are the captions at the bottom of the page – self-referential descriptions of the title and the depiction of the magic tone box just underneath.
