This is the first solo appearance of Jeff Jones. He was part of an art collective called The Studio that put out an art book a year earlier that showed up in the gallery section of this publication.

Jones is noted for producing an extremely long-running strip called I’m Age and for his transition to womanhood later in life. Seen from the other end of his life, his emphasis on the female form takes on a different light than most of the other Heavy Metal contributors.
