This portion of the Corben interview isn’t all that controversial – he goes through some of the ups and downs that he struggled through as a young cartoonist. He does mention a bit of back and forth between him and Bill Griffith as an example of how he doesn’t get along with everyone in the underground community, but it’s tossed off as an example, not as him calling Griffith out. This becomes important later.
