There is a major translation error in the early part of the story – it says that the flame that feeds the hot air balloon is going down, which causes the city to sink. This causes some confusion a few pages later when the whole city rises from the clouds.

Again, Segrelles uses the multiple panels containing a static shot with one minor detail change to great effect. The scale of the floating city really comes across in the second page.
