This is actually a pretty accurate metaphor for this play, with all of the cross-dressing and mistaken identity. I wonder how many people actually cut out the paper dolls?
Interesting note on the margin near the top right of the page – “Special thanks and a flourish of the quill to Weezie.” That would be Louise, Walt Simonson’s wife.
