Family history time. The first thing to note is that this issue (and every issue in the collection between 1982 and 1985) still has its plain brown paper wrapping. Previous issues probably had it as well, but this marks the point where my parents put the second half of the collection into binders and they couldn’t be bothered to pull the subscription wrappers off.

The second interesting thing is that the address (obscured because members of my family still live there) was not where my parents lived – it was my mother’s brother’s house. My parents used the house as a mailing address when they moved back to the DC area from Southern California in the early 80s.
