Visually, there is almost nothing to indicate that this is anything more than a straightforward noir story. It’s not until you get to the middle row of panels that a SFnal concept (a serum that keeps people young) is introduced. It’s not until the last row that we get the real point of the story – an assassin of assassins. Here, Mark David Chapman with a promise to kill Sirhan Sirhan next. As usual, John Workman’s art is a joy to behold; he usually only shows up as fill-in pages, though, which makes me wonder what happened to the regularly scheduled creative team.
