Kaluta does a marvelous job in the top two tiers with using the negative space of the gutter to represent the bulkhead between the two adjoining spaces. It’s very clever use of sequence and is a distinct subset of what I think of as a “super panel” – that is, two adjacent panels that depict adjacent moments in the same geographic space.
