One of the advantages of the comics medium over the stage (Starstruck was originally conceived as a stage production) is that it allows effects like this – an open book and a series of floating heads that correspond to the names on the list.

The story here is that Bru has been drummed out of the Brigade for losing all of the members of Squadron 4 – who had been instructed to fly through dangerous territory to egg a school band. Frankly, this always struck me as very strange – who orders a Squadron of very expensive pilots and craft into almost certain death to play a prank?
