For those of you (like me) who are not up on your television history, Bendix played the title character in The Life of Riley on the radio and on television. This mashup of Bendix with the concept of celebrity sightings (a la Elvis) is actually pretty entertaining. I’m not sure that there’s any real insight that comes from knowing who he was, however.
