Along with the Will Eisner interview (and not so subtle advertisement that came with it) in this issue, there was also an episode of The Spirit – not created specifically for this issue, however. This episode has some pretty racy motifs without actually going into material that would be unsuitable for children; perfectly appropriate for Heavy Metal readers, though. The only thing it was missing to fit better into the magazine was some full frontal female nudity.
