This long, meandering story is about a mob boss who is brought to a down and out doctor in the swamp because of a gunshot wound. Among other things, the doctor watches the boss’s henchman dispose of a pair of enemies via alligator. Here, the doctor heads off to play saxophone in a seedy blues club; the night ends with the doctor getting the shit kicked out of him in an alley.
