This story hits most of the Heavy Metal high notes – post-apocalyptic setting (check), woman depicted topless for no good reason (check) and a twist ending (check). After several pages of the fortune teller trying to convince the man about his destiny, it turns out that both teller and prospective mark are both robots, attempting to identify human survivors on a world that’s been mostly depopulated.
