There are several things that indicate the inevitability of this being published in Heavy Metal – most of them have to do with the appearance of the two women. Yes, the woman in a string bra has a totem welded to her vulva without any visible support except a tan line. But it’s the other woman that irritates me the most – not her butt floss and camel toe, surprisingly, but the fact that she’s deliberately turning to present her blind spot to the enemy coming at her in the bottom panel. Aside from that, it’s not a great story.
