One of the little details that makes the Incal great is the recurring shot of the home audience watching along as the president (currently incarnated as a tank) travels through the spiritual landscape. I especially enjoyed this page’s reaction shot of the home audience tilted to one side as the tank bounces down the landscape. 

There’s something about the interruption of SERIOUS SPIRITUAL BUSINESS with such a slapstick panel that really makes the comic work.
