Bilal’s color work is almost absurdly well suited to the dark times of the Russian Revolution. I liked the two inset boxes in the first panel, highlighting the main character and how he fit into the history. His changes over time are also handled very well. Bilal made sure to ensure that he has a distinctive nose that can be spotted even when the rest of the face has aged.
