There have been many parodies of this album cover over the years, but this is one of my favorites (right behind Frank Zappa’s). Scorchin’ Peppers Burned My Hard Lovegland. Right.

If you look at the top and bottom of the page, you’ll see a little bit of text. That’s because the entire episode was presented as a “behind the scenes” historical text with these kinds of visual evidence and explanatory notes. More comics should do this kind of thing.
