There’s a lot of conceptual leaping going on in this comic. Here, we have dandified nobles racing space ships for the hand of the princess. The green noble is sending a monster to attack the albino. What you see on the page is the entirety of the explanation – your guess is as good as mine.

Having said that, I don’t generally look to Voss for a clear, well-thought-out plot. I read for the linework and the color. He really understands the point of a thick outline to give figures definition.
