One of the “far off future of 2002” details of the Rebel setting is that only one of the World Trade Center Towers is still standing. In 1985, that was a mind-bending game-changer. Now, not so much.

I do like the fact that the leader of the skinheads (who is very clearly a goth) hangs out in his penthouse apartment without a shirt on. For reasons. Also note that the officer he’s trading quips with is putting on his shirt as he walks into the room. Some shipper would probably have a field day with that, if shippers were reading old issues of Heavy Metal.
