Moebius hasn’t been seen in the pages of Heavy Metal since June of 1984 when the Incal wrapped up.

On one of the final pages, there is a mention that there are multiple celestial Venices out there and that some of them have sunk into the sea over the years. I like this idea – a throwaway mythology that boils out of a single paragraph in a short story.
