It’s not clear how much time has passed during the course of the story, but the woman in the bathtub was first introduced after she fell asleep on the beach. Here, though, her tan has disappeared.

Other interesting note: the man in the bathtub with her just randomly crawled into the tub through the water pipes (?) and she is not at all perturbed or alarmed by his appearance. By all indications, she’s actively aroused. Which is a thing that happened.
