The high concept here is both hilarious and really solid: Ira Gershwin moonlighting as a monster fighter. I really enjoy the middle tier, where the sketchy art style tells the reader that it’s a flashback. The ending is also really good – it turns out that the monster is a plant and splits the money with Gershwin after each fight.
