This is a very Lovecraft-inspired story, about a man who slowly becomes a massive, stinky, be-tentacled monster. The use of the fixed camera that slowly zooms in from one panel to the next is very effective. The penultimate panel, where we see the author at his typewriter, gripping a glass of whisky as he writes also works very well in a “the horror is what you don’t see” kind of way.
