The plot of this story is very tenuous, but it involves Templars meeting in the basement of the Dakota apartment building to welcome alien overlords. I think.

Really, the pleasure here is looking at the solid blacks. The line is more reminiscent of Jacques Tardi (especially in the crowd scenes), but the inking comes from the Hugo Pratt school. I love the drawing of the outdoor book stall in the middle tier. That’s just a delight to look at.
