This story is very elliptical, to the point where the last page of the story doesn’t actually have anything specifically to do with the previous three pages. This page, though, has one of the best storytelling beats in the story – look at the shadows in the top tier of panels. The shadow in the second panel is different than the poses in the third panel, which indicates that time has passed between the two panels. A very subtle effect.
