You can’t tell from this page, but the story is about a terrible family that desecrates a caveman exhibit while on vacation. The little girl in the middle of this page does something weird and magical and transforms her brutish family into cavemen, who are subsequently kicked out of the cave by the real cavemen. A happy ending, then.

What I liked about this page was the nine panel grid, revolving around the beatific little girl in the middle, serene in the midst of her howling parents. The artwork is fantastic as well – lots of interesting near-stippling.
