This whole story felt like something that came from the Corto Maltese/Dieter Lumpen genre of European storytelling. The locations are heavily photo-referenced and the story jumps all over the place without being very precise about the exact location at any given point.

Despite the fact that it’s very obviously photo-referenced, that trainyard in the top panel is beautifully drawn. I especially like the tangle of wires that hang over everything, which is what those European trainyards really look like.
