Here, our hero Taxi (yes, that’s her name) sneaks out of her cabin to listen in on a conversation that incriminates an American industrialist named Whirlpool. This is pretty much the meat of the story right here, so of course it makes sense to have a panel that shows Taxi topless between costume changes. How else would you get the readers to focus on this page?
