Again with the Dieter Lumpen.
At any rate, this story is about a hot air balloon in Tunisia, which seems like a simple enough thing to write a story about. But somehow, the balloon gets caught up in the local politics – with Tunisian separatists, French loyalists and the whole bag. It’s got everything – action, adventure, intrigue – but most of all it has spectacular art. Just look at the detail on the bottom panel! The contrast between the Bedouin and the empty desert is amazing. And the whole story is colored in such a way as to emphasize the harsh sunlight of the region.

Addendum: a collection of this material was released by IDW in 2016 and is worth seeking out.
