One of the recurring motifs of this story are the ruins found throughout Tunisia that the locals accept as a matter of course. The bottom two panels do a good job of including them as the focus of the presentation, even going so far as to only draw the tip of a wing in the penultimate panel. The use of the archway to frame the plane in the last panel is really well done, too.
