The story is more expressionistic than realistic, which is just fine and it suits the subject matter (an Eskimo lost on an ice floe). What I really liked about it is that it looks like it was put together from something like two-color woodblock printing. Not a lot of comics are built like that, so it’s a refreshing change. A nice touch on this page are the ribcages on the people bringing the body back into the igloo – even the dog has a ribcage.
