This is part of a larger sequence where Duke Malik acts like a complete dick and starts doing everything in his power to be a villain – including killing several of the main characters. On this page, he kills a small female mutant just because he can. What’s interesting about this depiction is that I’m fairly sure that the actual death has been edited off the page. That big white space on either side of the bottom tiers probably wasn’t in the original version. All we have left are the reaction shots.
