This whole page makes me very uncomfortable. The robot friend of the small child is killed in front of him, putting him into a weird traumatic state. Instead of dealing with the trauma in a nice way, his parents dump him into a sanatorium, where he is subjected so more trauma, including (but not limited to): being dipped in an ice-filled pool, beatings, being shaken and yelled at. Because that’s exactly how you deal with people who have withdrawn into a catatonic state.
