This page is in sepia tones because it’s a flashback to when one of the main characters was incarcerated in a female prison in the middle of nowhere. I really like the establishing shot in the first panel – mostly because I have a soft spot for oblique views of buildings and compounds.

What’s interesting is the use of the inset panel to draw the reader’s attention to the detail from the establishing shot – as if to say “and here’s the detail that’s important to the story.”
