Longtime readers of this blog will no doubt understand exactly why I find the first paragraph of this advertisement so amusing/awesome. Any discussion of what makes a collectible a collectible – especially from this source – is automatically worthy of comment.

Especially interesting is the idea that things made “for other uses” can somehow become collectibles, which is noteworthy when you consider how much branded material Heavy Metal has produced over the years specifically advertised as collectible.
