In this charming little story, the teenaged boy breaks into the room of an older woman that he finds attractive. When she comes home unexpectedly, he hides in her wardrobe (as you do). They get to this point, where she’s about to call the authorities on him and then…

The next page shows her coming on to him, which is a terribly unrealistic fantasy twist. The page after that shows the German army officer that she is the mistress for showing up unexpectedly for sex. So the teenager has to hide under the bed while the woman he broke and entered for gets fucked over the desk. Which is a much more realistic twist.

Lack of realism aside, what’s interesting about this page is how the artist seems to be channeling Moebius. To be fair, everyone and their brother went through a Moebius period in the 80s and 90s. It was endemic in European art circles, to the point where someone could probably assemble a nice Master’s thesis on the Moebius school.
