In the category of “things not to do when making comics” I will always put “using a super-light color for your dialog without balloons” at the top of the list. I mean, look at that second panel. Can you imagine actually taking the time to work out what she’s saying? Which is a shame, because the art is very pretty. And, for the most part, we can tell what’s going on because the artist has a good grasp on sequential storytelling.
