This is the main feature in this issue, but instead of talking about how the story doesn’t quite hang together (it comes really close, though), I’m just going to focus on the panel in the bottom right corner. It’s one of the better panels in the story, visually. I really like how the two characters cross paths without realizing that they’re crossing paths (a nice visual trick that you can do very easily in comics). And the stark red coloring of the interior contrasts nicely with the normal coloration of the outside as seen through the windshield. But the best part are the eyes in the rearview mirror – the malice comes right off the page.
