Here’s a first: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (created by the publisher of the Heavy Metal) make their first appearance in a story in this publication. The creators of this particular story aren’t Eastman and/or Laird and this is nominally part of another sort-of series that has appeared sporadically through the years.

This particular splash page is part of an extended fight scene that seems to be in the story largely for the sake of having a fight scene. It’s dynamic, if nothing else.
