This is a beautifully drawn story about people in a cyberpunk future plugging into what is essentially a MMORPG where they are conducting entire lives – having children, conducting revolutions and so forth. At the time, this was a monumental idea for a story. Now, it’s a bit passe.

What’s interesting about this page (aside from the carnage in the second panel) is the staggering amount of verbiage on display. This is one of the main info dumps for what the story is all about and they do a passable job of handling the presentation of the exposition, but there’s so much of it!
