I think the title at the top of the page pretty much tells you everything you need to know, here. Serpieri is, of course, used to sell the section because of course he is. This whole presentation seems to have been customized for this Pin-up special, which makes a whole lot of sense – the kind of person who would pick up the magazine on the basis of the theme is exactly the kind of person who would be interested in the content presented for sale in this section.

Also of interest is the Kitchen Sink logo in the upper left corner – Kitchen Sink bought up the Tundra/Heavy Metal back catalog when Tundra collapsed, which means that Kitchen Sink got to enjoy the advertising position that Tundra previously had in issues of Heavy Metal.
