This is an incredibly creepy story about a woman who makes art with her body’s waste products. Here, we get a full page about her saving her tears to paint with. I especially liked the last panel – the note about wearing eyeliner to get different colors. 

A lot of good things to note here, from a formalist point of view.

There’s something interesting in the fact that the author left the grid on the page but essentially chose to ignore it in the middle tier. It slows the pace of of the page and gives the reader something interesting to look at that also relates to the central theme of the page. 

To a certain extent, this page stands alone as a single, self-contained story beat. Which actually makes the story stronger.
