Just the tiniest bit of subtle racism here, NBD. The juxtaposition of hungry white cavemen who descend on the African cavemen’s food is not handled exceptionally well, but the final image – white people gorging themselves while people starve in Africa is a poignant image. He’s trying to make A Point, but the comparison of Africans to cavemen undermines it – never mind that he makes the same comparison of white people to cavemen.
